Socket weld flange

Socket weld flange is counter bored to accept the pipe before being fillet welded. Socket welds have an internal recess on the inside diameter to allow for a smoother flow of the process fluid. This flange is very similar to Slip-On flange, the main difference is the bored out match a specific pipe inside-diameter.
